How do I register?
Registration is completed online through our website.

When is payment due?
Payment is due at the time of registration to reserve your child's space.

Can I join after the session has started?
If space is available, late registration may be possible depending on the class.

Do you offer refunds?

Before Class

Do students need previous art experience?
No! Beginners and experienced artists are welcome.

What supplies are included?
All materials are included in every Open Brush Studio class except Digital Brush. Students enrolled in Digital Brush should bring their own iPad with the required design apps.

What should students wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that can get a little messy. Aprons are recommended for ceramic classes.

How many students are in each class?
Our classes are intentionally kept small so every student receives individual attention.

Does my child need accommodations?
If your child has a specific need, please let us know before class so we can work together to provide the best experience.

Where are classes held?

Open Brush Studio offers small-group classes in our cozy home studio in Piscataway, New Jersey, creating a welcoming environment with personalized instruction.

As our studio grows, select classes and workshops may also be held at nearby venues. The location will always be listed on the registration page before you enroll.

Attendance

What happens if my child misses a class?
Because class sizes are limited, make-up classes cannot always be guaranteed.

Ceramics

When will I receive my ceramic piece?
Glazed ceramic projects require kiln firing and are typically ready for pickup within 2–3 weeks.

Dreamer's Brush

Is Dreamer's Brush designed for neurodivergent students?
Yes. This class is designed for young adults with ADHD, autism, and other learning differences. We provide a welcoming, supportive environment where creativity is encouraged at each student's own pace.

Ceramic & Tea Experiences

Can I book a private Ceramic & Tea experience?
Yes! We offer private experiences for birthdays, bridal showers, church groups, clubs, family gatherings, and more.

Where are experiences held?
Ceramic & Tea experiences are hosted at the client's location.

Studio Policies

What if Open Brush Studio cancels a class?
Participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another class.

Are photographs taken during class?
Occasionally, photos are taken for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let us know before class.

Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes! Gift certificates are available and make wonderful gifts for birthdays, holidays, and special occasions.
